Your Urgent Help is Needed
We are facing a critical time for our organization and the families who rely on us for assistance. We are grappling with a $300,000 decline in donations from our community, exacerbated by the loss of a long-time, significant local supporter. This puts a strain on our already-limited resources. Our ability to make up this $300,000 deficit means the difference between maintaining our current services or making painful cuts that will leave the most vulnerable members of our community without our desperately needed support.
But together, we can prevent this from happening.
To meet this crucial goal, we are asking our faithful supporters to contribute just $100 by May 15, 2025. The combined population of the communities we serve—Hampton, Poquoson, Newport News, Lower York, Gloucester, and Mathews Counties—is over 445,000. With your support, we can raise the necessary $300,000 and continue providing these essential services.

Thanks to your help in 2024, we provided:
++7,081 Nights of Housing and Sheltering Assistance
++25,592 Meals
++795 Households with Utility Assistance
Without your help, we risk having to cut these crucial services by FIFTY percent (50%). This would be a devastating blow to so many individuals and families in crisis.
